Literature Text

Sitting on a training post, Hinata sat with a thoughtful expression on her face. The sun was setting making the field hazy, dark and light mingled creating a stunning atmosphere. In the young heiresses hands a small black book lay. She wrote slowly, sometimes sliding here gaze away for a few moments in thought. She smiled and furiously wrote. Although not completely unknown, the young Hyuga had a passion for writing. She could express feelings on paper in ways she was previously unable to attempt with her nervous demeanor. This particular poem was about a certain blond, a man who she could easily say she was deeply in love with. But of coarse not out loud. Never out loud. On paper her feelings could flow out of her as freely as a river. Hinata was so concentrated on her poem she had yet to realize she was no longer alone in the training area. But the presence simply watched her, taking in the emotions passing across her face. She suddenly stopped, looking at the sky she sighed in happiness. Just as soon as she looked up the small black book was snatched from her hands. Startled she  looked at the thief and gasped.
"N-naruto-kun!?" she was mortified. "P-please return t-the b-book. I-it is very s-sp-" he cut her off with a small 'Shhh...' as his eyes took in the neat writing before him.
Hinata was hyperventilating. This couldn't be happening! This had to be a dream, no a nightmare! That's it! She had passed out while training again! Soon Neji would come and take her back home because obviously this wasn't reality. She quickly gazed at her supposed 'nightmare' who was smiling kindly down on the page. He quietly put the book in his jacket pocket and brought Hinata from the training post to the dirt where he simply smiled at her. She was unsure. Having many dreams similar to this, she couldn't remember any that seemed so life like. So real. He slowly reached down and cupped her now blushing cheek, tilting her head up to meet his eyes. She saw many things in those blue pools. Kindness, understanding, and maybe even... acceptance? In one move he bent down and claimed her lips leaving the girl in a whirlwind of emotions. Seconds away from fainting Hinata quickly tried to calm herself. She hesitantly kissed back her eyes closing. Her arms wrapped around him as they pressed against each other.  In doing so they knocked Hinata's book out of Naruto's pocket. The book fell landing on the page Hinata was had just finished. In fluid cursive it read...

His eyes are truly a window to his unique soul
the kindness they radiate is indescribable
but to me he can not hide the pain it masks
we are very similar yet so very un-alike
                                             our personalities are polar opposites
maybe that's why we get along so well
maybe that's why I like him so very much
despite our obvious differences our nindos will always intertwine
                                                despite our different backgrounds
I have still managed to fall undeniably in love with Naruto Uzamaki
This is just a quick one-shot I did based on a poem I wrote a few years back. I'm hoping to make more so bare with me :) I'd also appreciate advice on what you like, what should be changed and any other comments... thank you again :)
